The National Early Warning and Response Mechanism Centre proudly and fully participated in the Civic Festival which took place from 11^th –13^th December 2025, engaging citizens on its roles/mandate as well as the importance of early warning in conflict prevention, mitigating risks and eliminating or reducing threats to human security.

Through these interactive sessions and public dialogue, the Centre highlighted its mandate, ongoing initiatives and the critical role communities play in reporting early signs of conflict and issues relating to threats and insecurity.

The participation of the Centre reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening national peace, resilience and citizen-centred early warning systems for a safer Sierra Leone.
